Rent-a-Cellular is a DBA of Microtronic Overseas Corporation, established in Miami since 1998, providing affordable short-term cellular rentals in several countries.
Our operation started with this website catering initially the Miami market of leisure and business travelers.
With the openning of our first store, in downtown Miami, we started to sell cellular phone accessories, and we became authorized dealers of AT&T and VoiceStream.
We also expanded our service to other countries with the openning of a sales office in São Paulo, Brazil, stores at Recife International Airport, in Recife – Brazil, Natal International Airport, in Natal – Brazil, representative offices in Argentina, France and England.
In August 2001, we openned our first airport store in the United States, at Washington Dulles International Airport.
We are curently looking for enterpreneurs interested in developing other markets through franchise of our brand.
